Transit planning app Moovit adds Uber calling option in 7 Canadian cities

With Canadian cities like Toronto and Ottawa moving to legalize Uber, multimodal trip planning app Moovit has smartly added support for the ride-sharing service to its platform.

On Tuesday, the company announced users in 131 cities across the globe, including several Canadian metropolis, can request an Uber ride directly from the app. The full list of Canadian cities includes Calgary, Halifax, Kingston, London, Montreal, Québec City and Toronto.
