Amazon.ca to sell Switch as ‘Prime Perk’ at 3am EST on March 3

Nintendo Switch Joy-con

It looks like Amazon has plans to release more Nintendo Switch stock.

Amazon.ca has announced that at 3am EST (midnight PST) on Friday, March 3rd, customers will be able to purchase Nintendo’s new handheld-console hybrid system, the Nintendo Switch. Amazon says that the Switch will be exclusive to Prime members and is set to be sold at $399 CAD.

Free two-day shipping will be available to all subscribers, with free same-day shipping only being available in Vancouver and Toronto. Free one-day shipping is available in Montreal.

Both the grey Joy-con and Neon-Blue Joy-con iterations of the console are set to be available on Amazon.

It’s likely that the Switch will sell out rather quickly, even with the console only being available to Prime users. So if you’re interested in getting your hands-on a Nintendo Switch and haven’t pre-ordered it yet, Amazon could be a viable option, especially if you’re already a Prime subscriber.
