Microsoft lets possible Surface Pro 3 reveal slip ahead of Surface event next week

Microsoft Surface Pro 3

Last week Microsoft sent out press invites with Surface branding teasing a “small gathering,” leading some to speculate the company could announce a Surface Mini tablet on May 20th. This week, a slip up from Microsoft’s customer support team gives evidence that the Surface Pro 3 could be unveiled as well.

As you can see from the image above, the Microsoft support article for H264 recording in Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2 gives mention to a “Surface Pro 3 camera.” Now this could be a simple typographical error, but Microsoft’s support team has a history of being ahead of the game, so we’ll file this under highly plausible.

Let us know if you’re more interested in an update to the Surface Pro line, or if you’re more enticed by the prospect of a Surface Mini.
