HTC’s phablet will indeed be called the One Max

Last month HTC teased us that there were ‘big things ahead’ and we’re still waiting. Yes, it could have been the advertising partnership between Robert Downey Jr. and the manufacturer, but most were banking on the announcement of their phablet. This upcoming device hasn’t officially been announced and the internal codename is reportedly the T6. According to reputable device leaker evLeaks, HTC will in fact release this to the masses with as the HTC One Max – which follows the same naming scheme as the HTC One and One Mini.

Press images and pictures have already leaked online, but while we wait for HTC to give official specs, the One Max is rumoured to sport a 5.9-inch 1080p display, 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, UltraPixel camera, dual-front speakers and 3300 mAh battery. No word yet on the release date or pricing.
