  3. @iberry would you rather pay a straight up $600 for an CDMA Iphone4?

    i doubt u will
and honestly i doubt anyone will
how PM is targeting their audience is by going with LOW COST! unlike people like you some people cant afford to change and buy the “upgraded” version of the blackberry when they mainly just changed the camera…

i say good job with public and grats to the new release to the line up and how they are doing it.

    • Not defending anyone here but you can’t get an unlocked phone to work with public all that easily as they are using CDMA bands so you need to get a CDMA phone and unlock that….

Also their coverage and service in Montreal is terrible.

  8. People may give the good old “atleast public is cheap” but trust me , I’ve worked there. These ZTE and Kyocera phones break ALL the time.

God , people get your head out of your asses and stop being cheap. The majority of the time you go cheap on something , it sucks and you end up hating the company.

  12. ok so here’s the dirty little secret of PM

Let’s say you sign up on the 1st of the month , all your payments are due on the 1st. Let’s say you decide to stop for a month and your phone line is cut and you come to pay on the 31st thinking that it’s going to start working on the 1st again. Wrong. You esentially pay for one day of service and let’s not froget the magical 3$ charge when you pay your bill in store.

    Think criticall yguys

    • Everyone knows that, and if u waited til the 1st of the month u would have to pay a re-activation fee $25.00 plus ur plan… And don’t act like u didn’t get fired!!!

  13. I like PM.
Do I know what their service is like? Nope.
    Their customer service? Nope.
Do I know if their phones are any good? Nope.

BUT they are a new company, so I am willing to give them a chance. Not everyone wants a $500-$1000 smartphone.

Though I have the least hope for PM. They have a crummy spectrum and probably won’t be big enough to stop Robbers from gobbling them up, but I will give them a chance till then.

  16. PM is not trying to compete with Robellus or Winlicitron. What PM is trying to do is target people who pay too damn much for their landlines. Think about it, you have a landline you are paying 30 dollars per month plus 8 dollars for CID, why not junk it and replace it with a cheap CDMA phone? 25 dollars, unlimited province wide calling. PM is the best choice for consumers who want to replace their landlines.

    • I pay an additional 10$ on my Rogers bill for unlimited wi-fi calling; this replaced my landline as i have highspeed wifi at home and i get unlimited local calls and for 5$ more you can get nation wide unlimited. On top of my wireless bill, i save about 30-40$ a month.

Oh, and i have a sick phone.

  17. @ R, you are just proving yourself that you are an i***t.

No contract does NOT mean it is a pay-as-you go service.

You wanna use prepaid service, go ahead and get your 35c/min card u i***t..

who would offer an unlimited pay-as-you go service? NO COMPANY IN THE WORLD f*g..

  18. Nice seeing a little Canadian provider doing so well, the same one who forced Wind Mobile a foreign owned company that conned themselves into the market to sweat in court and talk about balls…I mean they castrated Wind making them look like the real i****s they are and showed what BIG PUSSIES they are similar to all the lunatic Fanboys lacking brains.Pretty funny irony for sure!!!

    Go PM DO!!!

  19. Im really not a fan public,: their phones, plans or reception. Im so surprised they were able to buy spectrum away from Videotron. What bothers me the most is the lack of data plans. I even asked a rep if i could axtivate a data AWS phone and they told me it wouldn’t work.

So, yeah, I hope Mobi or Wind buys them.

  22. PM has around 80,000 Subs. That means for about a year and a half in operation, they were adding around 4400 per month or 150 per day. Not bad considering your coverage, phones and outdated technology!

  25. To these people who claim that PM management don’t know anything, well they actually know alot more than you think. They have mangaged to get OHMER’S and Oxford group to invest in them and ZTE is the 5th largest telephone company maker in the world. So with all that in mind, I think all you haters are now going to hate them even more for having partnerships with groups like that. Just wait for LTE spectrum you might then hate them even more. So for now embrace the change in our wonderful wireless spectrum because ” you got another thing comming ” and that will be sooner than later.
