SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry now available

Sling Media has released its public beta of SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry. If you’re a SlingBox customer you can now watch streamed videos from your Berry via your SlingBox. It’s now available on a public beta for a free 30 day trial and if you like it you can buy it for $29.99.

Imagine watching TV shows, movies and videos at work, family functions, on the train, bus… meetings.

This is availale in Canada on the following Rogers BlackBerry devices: BlackBerry Bold, the Curve 8900, 8820, Curve 8320, Pearl Flip 8220 and the BlackBerry Pearl 8120. Your Berry must be running a 4.5 OS or greater and if you’re unsure if your device is compatible here’s a link to check. If you’re not a SlingBox customer yet, one of their units will set you back about $200.
