Telus launches the Samsung A523

Looks like we have another slider phone from Telus – the Samsung A523. It has been around for quite a while in the US through Helio and called the “Mysto”. In Canada, we call it like it is, the A523.

Now available for $99.99 on a 3-year contract, $149.00 on a 2-year contract, $299.99 on a 1-year contract or if you would like to buy this outright it can be yours for $349.99.

The Samsung A523 weighs 95 grams and when closed it measures 4.1 x 1.9 x 0.5 inches. Some features include a  2 megapixel camera, video player, a 2.2 inch display with a QVGA resolution (240 x 320 pixels), GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, Music player with support for MP3 and WAV, speakerphone, full HTML browser, email, 100MB of internal memory, microSD card supports up to 4GB, and the always popular organizer, To Do list, and calendar. Also, the Samsung 3.5 hours and a stand-by time of up to 200 hours.
