Telus has come out just in time for the holiday season with the Samsung R500 flip phone. This phone has the ability for the user to change the faceplate (red and blue) cover and has the basics that every entry phone should, including a 1.3 megapixel camera, microSD expansion, multimedia player, and Bluetooth connectivity. Telus is loading up on the marketing of this devise and includintg Telus’ suite of mobile services : Telus Mobile Music, Telus Mobile Radio, and Windows Live Messenger.

Even more amazing is that Telus is giving the customers something to talk about by selling R500 for $49.99 with a three-year contract or $249.99 outright.

  1. Had that phone 4 times in a row. Kept being sent out for doa. Messaging memory kept going down. Even if i had 0 messages. I deleted everything on that phone and everytime it would say i used up all my memory. Nice phone. If you dont text. But i switched to a new model. And it seems to be working just fine. I hope nobody else has this problem.

  2. I own this phone right now, its almost 2 months old and I have the same problem. I’ve googled it and read that a few other people have been having the same problem. I’m going to take mine in and hopefully get it fixed. Btw, I’m with Telus in Canada.

  4. I am with Telus Canada and have had this phone for 2 months.Everything works fine.I can’t seem to find any instructions on how to download photos on to my computer with out emailing them.I was hoping to just hook up a USB cable.

  5. this phone sucks i dial a number and it rings in my ear it constantly freezes i have to take the batt out everytime.the dumb stunned cunt telus operator tells me they dont no why its fucked up.they offered me $30 off the next ph i purchase . this ph is not even a year old. whene i buy a new ph im throwing this peice of a shit ph off niagarafalls or tape it to the railwaytracks. you bastards ripped me off you bunch of schnook crooked bastards . im going to rogers! GO FUCK YOURSELFS TELUS !!!!!
