Tesla shares another glimpse of the elusive Model Y

We're getting a little closer to seeing the next car from Tesla

During Tesla’s latest shareholder meeting, CEO Elon Musk shared a small detail about the upcoming Model Y.

Musk joked the car won’t have a steering wheel or the option for a leather trim. After the meeting, Tesla released a sketch of the elusive car.

The image is mainly obscured, making it difficult to tell whether the sketch shows the front or the rear of a vehicle.

The Model Y is a larger utility vehicle version of the Model 3. From looking at the sketches, it definitely seems taller than the Model 3.

According to Electrek, Musk stated “Model Y will not have any leather in it, even in the steering wheel… if it does have a steering wheel,” during the meeting.

The company is expected to reveal their plans to build the car before the end of the year and Musk has previously stated that the vehicle will be shown off in March of 2019, according to Electrek.
