Shazam has announced an update for its Android application that adds the ability to listen to tagged songs on Google Play. The app previously allowed users to preview songs on Amazon or Google Play. This new update offers the ability to purchase tagged songs on Google Play with just a couple of taps.
Shazam’s Android app also features the ability to connect to Rdio to create a playlist of your Shazamed tracks as well as the option to watch tagged videos on YouTube and share your discoveries with friends (via Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, Google+ and Pinterest). In July, Shazam announced full track playback for iOS users thanks to further collaboration with Rdio.
