A touchscreen MacBook Pro might finally drop in late-October

Apple is expected to announce a new MacBook Pro with a touchscreen and an updated iPad Mini on October 27, according to Bloomberg.

Bloomberg indicates that the event will be online-only and will have an “in-person component for the press.” This is reported to be what Apple is planning for the October 13 event it announced recently.

The new MacBook Pros will reportedly be lighter and have a touchscreen OLED and an iPhone-like Dynamic Island. The new MacBooks would reportedly feature an M6 chip that was introduced with the new Mac Mini. The iPad Mini will reportedly have a “revamped speaker system” and a front-facing camera on the landscape side.

Apple is on one recently, with the launch of the iPhones, the upcoming iPhone Duo, reportedly a new smart home hub, and now MacBook Pros with touchscreens. I’m excited to see everything Apple has coming, but the company has us busier than ever. But first is the ‘Welcome Home‘ Apple Experience on October 13, where the company will reportedly show off a new Apple Home Hub with a mechanical arm and a display, alongside a new Apple TV 4K and HomePod Mini.
