No Name Mobile is running a flash sale on some wireless plans, offering additional data for a limited time.
Until Nov. 4, customers can get an extra 10GB of data on No Name’s $29/mo and $34/mo plans.
The $29/mo plan typically includes 40GB of data, but during the promotion, customers get 50GB instead. However, the catch is that the extra data is only available if you sign up for automatic payments.
Similarly, the $34/mo plan comes with 70GB instead of 60GB until Nov. 4, as long as you use auto-pay.
Both plans include 4G data, unlimited calling Canada-wide and to the U.S., Canada and international texting, and other standard features like call display, voicemail, call forwarding, and suspicious call detection.
At this price point, No Name’s plans look pretty good. Telus-owned Public Mobile’s $30/35GB 4G plan isn’t as good, and the $35/50GB plan has less data than No Name’s $34 plan but does include 5G — a decent trade-off for those who value speed over data. Similarly, Freedom’s $35/35GB plan offers 5G and other features like Canada/U.S./Mexico roaming — more features and less data for a similar price.
No Name’s plans also offer quite a bit more data than comparably priced plans from the likes of Chatr and Lucky Mobile.
You can check out the plans on No Name’s website.
