Post-secondary students in Canada can get Gemini free for one year

If you’re a post-secondary student in Canada, you can get one year of Gemini via Google AI Plus for free. You have to claim the free year before December 31.

Claim it here, and you’ll be redirected to SheerID to verify your student status.

The student plan offers access to a new dedicated hub in the Gemini app. It can also get you organized, and you can do things like start a study notebook, create flashcards and even make a quiz for yourself.

There are now study notebooks where you can upload your own class materials like lecture notes, and Gemini will set up a study notebook and help you break down learning topics. It can even do a diagnostic quiz, and you can find your gaps in knowledge.

You can also get interactive visuals to help visual learners, and you can ask Google to show you how DNA works. And of course, you can use Gemini Live to talk out your problems and research your topic before your next exam.
