Google has added a ‘Recommended for You’ section to its Play Store in the last few days, mirroring the same functionality on the web version.
The idea is good, as it caters the selection to you based on your currently-installed apps and software that your friends +1’d or “similar users,” whatever that means. You can make the selections more specific by nixing apps you don’t want to see again (Draw Something, really? No thanks), and with the data Google receives, the recommendations should get more effective over time.
The update has already been applied in the back-end of Google’s Play Store, so head to Apps and scroll down in the Featured panel for a look-see at your list.
