Apple in-store Personal Pickup reportedly expanding to more countries in November

Apple Store pickup

Apple is often closely associated with many peoples’ definition of exceptional customer service, and one of the reasons for this is the significant number of ways the company gets their products into customer hands.

Until now, Apple stores in the US have had an additional option when it comes to picking up the latest Apple wares, Personal Pickup, but that’s about to change.

According to MacRumors, sources say Apple plans to expand its Personal Pickup program to additional countries, including Australia, France, the U.K., as well as other regions (hopefully Canada is on the list as well). Personal Pickup effectively lets you treat your local Apple Store as a drop location for shipments from Apple’s online store.

Through Personal Pickup, customers are able to order items online and receive an email when they’re available at their local Apple Store, which can take as little as an hour if the item is already in stock. If you’re ordering something the Apple Store doesn’t have in stock, missing a delivery attempt is something you don’t have to worry about with Personal Pickup.

You’ll be the first to know if we are able to confirm Canada will be on the list of countries getting Personal Pickup.
