Apple has released a small bug fix update for iPhone and iPad users. iOS 6.0.2 is rolling out now to phones and tablets, promising only one minor change: “Fixes a bug that could impact Wi-Fi.”

iPhone and iPad users have been complaining for months now that their devices have been intermittently posting poor WiFi performance, sometimes dropping connections altogether. I can confirm that this has been an on-and-off problem on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz networks, so let’s hope this update nips it in the bud.

Apple has also been making strides in bringing iOS 6.1 to market and it should be available in early 2013.

Users running iOS 6 already can download the OTA update by heading to Settings/General/Software Update, or by plugging in an iDevice while running iTunes.

Looks like tethered updates are working fine, but wireless is having issues at the moment.

When I see the iPhone or iPad how can somebody buy 16 gig version of it? A good game and Hd movies and oh where do I put my music? I need at least 64 gig but spending 800-900 dollar for a phone??? Where I still even can use a charger! Lightning connector? What? What is that? We don’t even need to talk about iOS!!!

Hmm still says 6.0.1 is the most up-to-date version of the software. Guess Apple’s gunna make me play the waiting game…

Where’s my iPod update? It’s stupid that it drops Wifi when the device is a Wifi only product!

I’ve been having WiFi issues. At work, where we have one of the worst routers known to mankind and it kicks everyone off every 30 minutes regardless of device type. But I don’t think that counts in this case.

Omg I thought it was my WiFi the problem!!!!!!! lol

Update is for iPhone 5 and iPad Mini only….. no luck for others.

    Okay let’s see.

    -Scuffs out of the box.
-Tall and girly faux 4 inch screen which is closer to a 3.5 inch screen.
    -Maps. nuff said
    -WiFi Problems
    -Touch Screen sensitivity issues
-More noticeable than most purple lens flare
    Keyboard flicker

And the main one: they have 100 billion in the bank, 1 billion coming from Samsung, god knows how much from HTC for prior art and they still raise the price of the iphone 5 to $699 Canadian from the $649 price of all previous phones.

All of those problems and they gouge your wallet needlessly some more and you guys still support them? What is wrong with you guys? Draw the line somewhere instead of letting them continue to rape you and other companies like HTC that are trying to manage a decent profit.

Do not upgrade it has so many problems, as per news , it realeaed just before jailbrook for iOS 6.0.1 is getting available , it drains bettery , more problems with wi-fi, even when u walk to your backyard , and its making some setting issues too. Stay on 6.0.1 , right now that’s the best choice.
