Fido to launch the Curve 9360 for $350

Fido has been lacking in the device launches over the past few weeks, but alas, the BlackBerry Curve 9360 is “coming soon”. No word on an official launch date for this Berry – the price will be $350 outright. As for specs, the 9360 runs BlackBerry 7 OS, has a A 2.44-inch display, full QWERTY keyboard, 800 MHz processor and a 5MP camera.

(Thanks tipster!)

  1. IT’s being sold outright for $300, why the extra $50?

    • We should charge Robbers with animal cruelty. They’re really trying to beat the poor dog to death.

  2. Beecause it’s what the carriers do.

Fido’s also getting the Samsung C414 @ $75 outright. Most likely be 0$ on a 2 year. But no confirmation yet.

  8. Fido has been lacking in the device launches over the past few weeks,, more like several years now. Fido has never released any good phones since they became Fido.

  12. Finally… a little late though? You can outright buy this cheapest BB7 phone for $300 with some carriers. These carriers have also amped up their BB phones to the 9790 Bold and 9380 touch Curve.

Oh Fido, as long as you keep your prices low, you’ll be ok.. for now

  13. Yeah this is exactly why im going to be leaving Fido and heading over to either Telus or Bell.

The phone selection is virtually non existent…

  14. why would anybody buy a phone with a dead OS ? OS 7? really? do you expect me to spend my money on this phone and then I cannot upgrade to the QNX ( if they will ever release it) lol doesn’t make any sense!

  15. I don’t know if Fido is doing everything they can to lose me as a customer, but they will succeed very soon. Koodo offers long distance free, better flex data rate, better phone (Galaxy Ace or Nexus S). And it’s not part of Bell (a big plus).

So as soon as my iPhone 3GS became too old, I will switch provider. This dog cannot fight anymore.

    • Well, Koodo uses the same network as Bell. Remember, Telus and Bell share one HSPA network from coast to coast.
