Bell documents shows more proof of upcoming BlackBerry devices: 9810, 9860, 9900 and 9360

BlackBerry is getting a great deal of attention today – more leakage, this time from a Bell document. There’s many more “4G” labeled devices on this roadmap, many that have already been seen on a couple documents before. However, these are the cleanest pics to date. You can see that the BlackBerry Torch 9810, Torch 9860, Bold 9900 will all be coming with 4G beside them… this is due to it’s peak download speeds of 14.4Mbps and that it has a 1.2Ghz processor. In addition, the Curve 9360 will be available sometime soon. I’m sure we’ll be hearing official launch dates and pricing this week…

  1. The Torch 2 and the 9900 both have a 3.2 inch screen, or is that a typo??

    • How about security and complete and total lack of malware. With these phones there is no such thing as a virus that can record your voice SMS/Instant messages and send them off to people unknown without your knowledge. I don’t want to have to worry about up to date antivirus program ON MY PHONE! But hey, if you like Android that’s great for you

How about the best physical keyboards in the business.

      How about BBM

How about NFC. Not allot of Android phones have NFC yet

Who cares about dual core as long as the UI and browser experiences are fast and fluid.

    • I’ve seen RIM’s sales and they are UP including Q2 this year the most recent numbers announced. Here’s a better question for you. When was the last quarter in what year that RIM reported a sales drop?

Yes their MARKET SHARE is slipping, but guess what, so is Apple’s and no one is claiming that no one cares about them. Oh, and RIM’s sales are right up there with Apple. Profit margins are second only to Apple to. So yes they are currently ENJOYING a smaller piece of a bigger pie, but you know what, another thing that they have in common with Apple is that they own their own ecosystem end to end and thus are in better shape then any Android or WP7 OEM for the LONG TERM as they have a whole new OS in the pipeline that is competitive with anything.

So what exactly is your point?

  7. I have the 9860 (Touch)in hands. The body is very nice, better than most RIM devices.
Unfortunately, even the 1.2GHz CPU is not enough to make the overall experience entirely smooth. The OS really seems to cripple the device that, on paper, should provide better performances.
It won’t be enough to rise RIM above the crowd, even for a brief moment.
Sorry, not the savior I expected.

  9. What does everyone think the price point will be for the Galaxy 10.1 Tab on a 3 year contract? Just a ballpark figure. It is $499 for the wifi outright.
