SaskTel making 3G+ announcement tomorrow

For all those located in Saskatchewan and are waiting for SaskTel to give an update about thier anticipated 3G+ launch… it’s coming in a few short hours. SaskTel stated on Twitter that “3G+ announcement is coming tomorrow morning.”

We’ve been hearing that it’s still in a soft launch scenario but they will be announcing their lineup of new devices. One heavily rumoured devices that SaskTel will launch is the new Apple iPhone 4. Back in October last year SaskTel signed a network sharing agreement with TELUS and Bell so there are many devices that they have access to. What devices do you think they’ll launch with?

  3. This is great news.Sasktel will start.out with coverage from Sasktoon to Regina to MooseJaw.Full coverage spring 2011.As per Sasktel web site.

  6. I’ve been waiting for this news for a week now. As for devices, BB Bold 9700 and maybe one of the 3G+ Pearls. Other devices would probably be similar to Bell’s low end since their current CDMA phones seem to be in line with Bell.

  7. Anyone think that there might be news about the iPhone 4? With this network up they should get the iPhone, they have perfect timing. Anyone know when exactly this announcement is coming and how?

  8. Living on the border between AB and SK I’ve been covered by the 3% Bell supported. nice to have better coverage should I choose to travel SK.
