Pics of what the WIND Mobile stores currently look like…

A couple months back we sat down with new wireless entrant WIND Mobile CEO Ken Campbell and CCO (Chief Consumer Officer) Chris Robbins for a quick interview. Back then they stated that “their stores they will have no cash desks “or any barriers with the customer… a completely digital environment”.

Today the folks over at WIND have updated their site and given us an inside look at what that experience might look like. See the pics below (and on their Facebook page). From a previous post it does look like in the first pic there’s room in the slot to hold the “Microsoft Surface”, So what do you think… you like?

    1. typically stores are built to sell a product and/or service. not sure why WIND is still working on their retail locations, but whatever.

    2. i am pretty sure, they will not give up so easily. they have invested a huge amount and will probably take the road not taken if nothing works out

    3. They’re working because the plan is still to launch by early December and if the cabinet ruling comes quickly they need to be able to quickly open up their doors and get rolling. it’s not like they can just halt all work and lay off everyone and when the ruling comes back positive just open up doors the next day.

    4. Kind of looks like a hair salon. Maybe that is their contingency plan. If they don’t have any luck with the CRTC they can put up a few mirros and start cutting hair.

    5. Any idea where some of their locations will be? I’m going to assume one will be at the Eatons Center.

    6. @TNSF
A hair salon full of high tech stuff including live twitter on huge monitors and the Microsoft Surface (if don’t know what that is Google it).
But yeah it would be nice as a hair salon too. If they don’t launch. Which they will. So you can cut your hair somewhere else.
