Now that the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has landed in Canada, we feel it’s about time to hold another contest!
All you have to do to win yourself the sexy Nokia touchscreen is submit your name in the comment section below. No strings attached. We will draw our winner on July 15th and ship it out right out to you! The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has a retail value of $399.99, but nothing like getting a free device to kick your summer into high gear… especially one that’s meant to crank out the music!
Some key features of the 5800 are the 3.2 inch touchscreen (resolution of 360 x 640). The overall dimensions are 111 x 51.7 x 15.5 mm and has a weight of only 109 grams. As the name “XpressMusic” says it all this comes with a wicked set of speakers, a 3.5 mm audio jack, an 8GB card but can hold up to 16GB with a microSD card. Apart from the music features, the 5800 has a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, auto-focus and a dual LED flash and the ability to share your pics via Nokia’s Ovi Share.
Other features the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic comes with is Nokia Maps, a full QWERTY touchscreen keyboard for all your messaging needs (text messaging has a 160 character limit), FM radio, TV Out, GPS, Accelerometer, Handwriting recognition.

I’m a big fan of Nokia products. In fact, it is quite possible that I worked on one of the chips that is inside this phone (part of the microphone)… so would love to have one as a souvenir!

Spotted the phone in europe while I was over there for vacation during the summer and was seriously considering buying an unlocked one but the price was a lot more than in north america and would have been a european model as well.
Regardless of some of the reviews it is still an excellent phone. Wouldn’t mind winning one.

i dont know why people hate on this phone a lot. The 5800 is a good midrange phone with above average specs, even the S60 software is pretty good.

Had the Nokia 6572i and loved it but it died a software death. would love this phone as it has the music capacity I want, great camera for emergencies& fun, and the touch screen etc. I would definitely by some back up batteries though for the tunes suck the life out of batteries fast. Nice job Nokia! Hope I win -I’ll tell 250 friends and they’ll tell.. Great website also, your on my favs.
