Pre-orders are now available for Apple’s iPhone Duo.
We’ve already detailed pricing from Apple, but now let’s see what carriers are offering. Pre-orders are already available but slipping to 2027, with the device releasing on October 23.
Before we get into carrier pricing, it’s worth highlighting Apple’s prices, since most carriers inflate the cost of phones. Check it out:
- 256GB iPhone Duo: $2,999
- 512GB iPhone Duo: $3,299
- 1TB iPhone Duo: $3,899
- 2TB iPhone Duo: 4,799
Usually, these plans have some sort of relation to another, but it looks like the carriers all had different ways of making the iPhone Duo look more enticing to purchase. Because Bell, Telus, Rogers and Vidéotron require that you return your device after two years (you can choose to pay off the rest of your device), I think Freedom Mobile is what I’d go with, considering it doesn’t look like you’re required to return the device. Fido is also a good option since you keep the device as well. The monthly financing is $20 more, but you can get a plan for $25 cheaper.
It’s worth mentioning that Apple itself is starting to ship some devices all the way in 2027, so keep that in mind.
Bell
iPhone Duo: starting at $0 down, $77.12/mo financing with device return on eligible 2-year plan. It looks like you’ll need to head in-store to pre-order this device at Bell. Though it’s likely you’ll need at least a $100/mo plan.
Telus
iPhone Duo: starting at $0 down, $91/mo financing with device return, with as low as $95/175GB at 2GBps plan
Rogers
iPhone Duo: starting at $0 down, $98.77/mo financing with device return, with as low as $85/60GB at 2GBps plan
Freedom Mobile
iPhone Duo: starting at $0 down, $109.96/mo financing on a $70/mo plan (it looks like Freedom isn’t offering a device-return option)
Koodo
iPhone Duo: starting at $584 down +$25 shipping and taxes, $104.17/mo financing on as low as a $60/60GB plan
Fido
iPhone Duo: starting at $0 down, $128.52/mo financing on as low as a $45/20GB plan (actually, Fido has lower plan options but $37.50 for 2GB of data isn’t even reasonable; just get $45/20GB)
Eastlink
iPhone Duo starting at $0 down, $85.67/mo financing on as low as a $60/mo plan with device return
Videotron
iPhone Duo starting at $0 down, $97.50/financing with device return on as low as a $60/150GB plan
