I Kill the Bear, the next show from Letterkenny and Shoresy creator Jared Keeso, will premiere on Crave on November 6.
Two episodes of the six-episode comedy series will begin streaming on that date, with two episodes weekly thereafter. The series follows a family of Franco-Ontarian bear wranglers for film sets as they work on their final production.
Notably, Keeso has assembled an eclectic ensemble cast of Canadians for the series that includes Keeso himself, Adrian Holmes (Bel-Air), MMA legend Georges St-Pierre (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Sarah-Maude Beauchesne (Bellefleur), Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger, Jonathan Torrens (Trailer Park Boys), Kids in the Hall’s Scott Thompson, Kristen Kreuk (Smallville), Dylan Playfair (Letterkenny), Eliana Jones (Shoresy), Frederick Roy (Shoresy) and Megha Sandhu (Painkiller).
I Kill the Bear is part of Bell’s larger multi-year deal with Keeso to develop original productions for Crave. Letterkenny wrapped its twelfth and final season in Dec. 2023, while the sixth season of spin-off series Shoresy is currently in the works for a 2027 premiere.
Meanwhile, Keeso’s Letterkenny collaborator, Jacob Tierney, is working on the highly anticipated second season of Heated Rivalry, which is currently filming in Toronto ahead of a 2027 release on Crave as well.
