If you were hoping to get an iPhone Duo this year, you might just be out of luck.
Apple’s iPhone Duo pre-orders went live early this morning ahead of an Oct. 23 launch. But in the short time the pre-orders were live, expected pre-order shipping times have already extended into late January 2027 for Canadians.
At the time of writing, the Apple Canada website showed an expected shipping time of Jan. 26 across both colour options and all storage options for the phone.

Of course, that’s just Apple’s online store. It’s possible you might be able to find the Duo at physical locations once the phone launches on Oct. 23, both at Apple and other retailers like Best Buy, or even at carrier stores. But your mileage may vary with that.
The limited stock shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Reports leading up to and even after the iPhone Duo’s unveiling consistently noted Apple was struggling with production issues that would limit the launch supply.
If you want an iPhone Duo, it seems like you’d better get your order in quickly. Either that, or take it as a sign that you shouldn’t drop $3,000+ on a new smartphone.
