It looks like Bell is adding a number of new devices to its lineup. We previously reported that the LG G3 flagship would be making an appearance on August 1st, and that ZTE Grand X would debut on July 31st. Now our sources say that the Alcatel OneTouch 2S is scheduled to launch next week.
Alcatel OneTouch is not new to Bell’s lineup, as the carrier previously launched the Idol X and the Pop 7 earlier this year. The OneTouch Idol 2 S was announced at MWC earlier this year and runs Android 4.3. It packs a 5-inch HD display, a quad-core Cortex-A7 SoC, an 8MP camera with a 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, a 2150 mAh battery, and has overall dimensions of 5.37 x 2.74 x 0.29 inches.
There’s no word on a price point just yet but you can expect this mid-range smartphone to be competitively priced. Bell will be launching the Alcatel OneTouch 2S on July 28th.
Update: For those interested, we now have pricing for you. Bell will come to market with the LTE-enabled Idol 2S at $299.95 no-term.
