Minuum just proved that keyboards can work on a smartwatch (video)

Minuum, the one-dimensional keyboard for Android devices, just got a whole lot more intriguing. While we’ve previously shown you that the technology behind Whirlscape’s amazing keyboard is impressive, Minuum’s application has so far been quite limited; few Android devices lack the vertical screen space for a full-sized keyboard like SwiftKey.

But from the very beginning, Minuum has been more than just a vertically-challenged Android keyboard; Whirlscape wants its autocorrect magic to apply to wearable technology like smartwatches. In this teaser video, Minuum can be seen performing some crazy corrections on a Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch, with a nod to a bigger announcement in the coming weeks.

So, what do you think? Is this a better method for inputting text on a smartwatch?
