BlackBerry previously stated that they’ll release up to six BlackBerry 10 devices this year. So far the company has announced the all-touch BlackBerry Z10 and the QWERTY/Touch BlackBerry Q10. An interesting article in CNET has quoted Thorsten Heins, CEO of BlackBerry, saying that BlackBerry will launch yet another flagship BlackBerry 10 device in the coming months, possibly in time for the busy holiday season.

Heins noted that “There’s one new product I’m really excited about, but I can’t really share it… It takes BlackBerry 10 to another level in terms of the user experience.” No other details on the device specs, or specifically what the new UI experience is like. The new device that Heins could be excited about is the rumoured 1.5GHz quad-core “Aristo.”

In addition, Heins gave an insight into a new tiered smartphone strategy. Apparently there’s a 3-tiered structure to BlackBerry 10 smartphones: an iconic QWERTY design, touch-screen option, plus a “one-two punch” which is most likely a combination of both a QWERTY/Touch.
