In previous posts we’ve written about the rumoured specs of the upcoming Google/ASUS tablet. It’s expected that it’ll be called the “Google Asus Nexus 7″ and come with a 7-inch display, powered by a Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor and running OS 4.1 – potentially called Jelly Bean. In addition, to compete against other tablet makers such as Apple’s iPad and Amazon’s Kindle Fire (not available in Canada), Google is expected to release this at a sub-$200 price point and be available for sale via Google Play online store. This is also expected to be officially announced at Google I/O on June 27th. New details have emerged, courtesy of Business Insider, that states their sources believe Google will “also offer magazine subscriptions from some major magazine publishers.” Unfortunately no details on who the magazine publications are, or if us Canadians will have access.
