The Samsung Galaxy Nexus was released in Canada on December 8th by Bell and Virgin for $159.99 on a 3-year. Since this date we’ve seen every carrier hop on the Nexus bus: Rogers, TELUS, SaskTel, Videotron, Wind, Mobilicity etc… there’s lots of OS 4.0 love in Canada. With it being available on every corner also brought a continuous price reduction. We’ve seen it decline slightly to $129.99, then $99.99, $79.99, $49.99, even this past weekend Fido corporate stores sold it for a low $0.01 3/yr.
Now it seems that Best Buy is preparing to clear stock, possibly get ready for more powerful dual-core Ice Cream Sandwich Androids. As you can see on the above pic they’ve dropped the Bell and Rogers Galaxy Nexus to $19.99 on a 3-year. They do note that there’s “Limited quantities. No rainchecks.”
In a couple weeks we’ll probably see this hit $0.00 on a 3-year.
(Thanks Todd!)
