Virgin already drops price of Curve 8530 to $24.99

I’m actually liking the feel of the new Virgin Mobile HSPA network. They’re certainly setting themselves apart from all the other carriers sub-brands. Virgin is owned entirely by Bell and also share Bell’s network… so essentially those who are buying Virgin devices are basically buying Bell, but with a much cooler brand.

Virgin launched several new devices such as the iPhone, Bold 9700 and the BlackBerry Curve 8530 (CDMA device though). Good news as they have already price dropped the Curve to compete with other carriers. What used to be $49.99 2 weeks ago is now 50% off at a good value price of $24.99 on a 3-year contract. The 8530 is available in Black and Purple. If you’re looking for a greater deal, Best Buy is selling the Virgin 8530 for $29.99 on a 3-year contract, plus they are throwing in a $50 Gift Card.
