Renders of Apple and LG’s smart home devices surface online

A recent report fromBloomberg indicates that Apple is working with LG on a new collection of smart home devices and accessories. Now, we’re seeing leaks from ‘pdfu,’ which The Verge considers a reliable leaker, on X, revealing more details about upcoming products.

The leaker didn’t reveal details about pricing, but has shown a new deadbolt lock, thermostat and temperature sensor.

LG is working on a smart deadbolt lock, which has a keypad that rotates to open and an adjustable design to keep your wall safe from moving parts. It also has automatic unlocking, tap-to-unlock, emergency power, adjustable light settings, and an alarm that rings when the door is left open or unlocked. It also comes with a pair of mechanical keys that you can use as a backup.

There’s also an LG smart thermostat with settings that let you adjust its ‘Far Sight Display,’ ‘Humidity Display,’ ‘Brightness,’ and ‘Language.’ Additionally, there are Calibrated Temperature/Temperature Offset options.

The LG Temperature Sensor will let you know if your house is being properly heated or cooled, and it can measure humidity. The sensor also has a magnetic back to attach to metal surfaces, comes with a metal plate with adhesive to attach to surfaces and has a replaceable battery and alerts.

Apple is reportedly working on a Smart Home Hub that has a display, which would be perfect timing for Apple to release new smart home devices.
