Samsung has increased the price of its Galaxy S26 phones.
As first spotted by PhoneArena, the S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra are all more expensive, although the recently launched S26 FE remains unchanged at $1,049.99.
Here are the updated prices for Canada, per Samsung’s official website:
- Galaxy S26 (256GB) — $1,399.99 (previously $1,249.99)
- Galaxy S26 (512GB) — $1,679.99 (previously $1,529.99)
- Galaxy S26+ (256GB) –$1,679.99 (previously $1,529.99)
- Galaxy S26+ (512GB) — $1,959.99 (previously $1,809.99)
- Galaxy S26 Ultra 256GB — $2,049.99 (previously $1,899.99)
- Galaxy S26 Ultra 512GB — $2,329.99 (previously $2,179.99)
- Galaxy S26 Ultra 1TB — $2,849.99 (previously $2,599.99)
Samsung didn’t mention a reason for the price increase, with the changes just quietly being made on its website.
But naturally, it likely has to do with the “RAMageddon” component shortages that are plaguing the tech industry and driving up costs. Just a few weeks ago, we saw Apple jack up the prices of its older iPhone line amid the reveal of its latest flagships. Samsung itself also made the S25 FE and some of its tablets more expensive earlier this year.
