Nexus 6 now available at TELUS for $280

The Nexus 6 has finally launched at TELUS.

After a two-week delay as Google sorted out a debilitating French Canadian language bug, the device has launched for $280 with Canada’s second-largest carrier. The price comes in modestly under that of Rogers and TELUS, which launched the product earlier this month, but in line with most flagships. As usual, TELUS’s outright price is a bit higher — $780 to the others’ $750 — but few are going to be spending that much at the carrier level anyway.

According to TELUS, the device ships with Android 5.0 and will have an update to 5.0.1 out of the box.

The Nexus 6 is a 5.96-inch QHD device with a 2.7Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 805 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, a 13MP rear camera, a 3,220mAh battery with wireless charging support and Android 5.0 Lollipop updated directly from Google. The TELUS version ships in Midnight Blue only.
