Back in January at CES 2013 we stopped by the Liquipel booth where they were showcasing Liquipel 2.0. This is a self-sealing nanocoating that is sprayed on the inside and outside of your device and protects it from liquid damage. Liquipel apparently protects your device up to 3.3 feet underwater for 30 minutes.
At the time the company had no plans to come to Canada, but this image captured at the West Edmonton Mall certainly shows a retail store is en route. We contacted Liquipel and they confirmed that the store is coming and is expected to open sometime in April. The cost to coat your device is about $60 and takes a few hours.
