Video: Upcoming BlackBerry 9300, 9670 and 9800

Here’s a great way to start today off! How about a good rundown of some upcoming BlackBerry devices. Salomondrin has got his hands on 3 of the unreleased devices: 9300, 9670 and 9800. The 9300 is the updated 8520/8530 with 3G. The 9670 is the Clamshell that we’ve seen before in videos… and finally the 9800 Slider gets caught on video again with a bit more of the new BlackBerry 6 OS. No word on when these are hitting Canadian shores… but if you had a choice which of these would you go for?

  1. “IF”, I were to go with Blackberry again, definitely the 9800. Bigger screens have been desired by GSM Blackberry fans for sometime, they’ve wanted a GSM Storm for so long but now they get the best of both worlds.

Sal opened the browser but he didn’t use it. That is the ultimate deal breaker for me, I can no longer use a smartphone that can’t surf the web. I’ll be waiting to see how that browser performs.

  2. So does the 9800 have the touch-keyboard plus the slide-out one??
There was an article much earlier that (I think) said it would. The closest the video got was the search-the-phone option.

  3. Notice the 3G Bands on 9800:
1,2,5,6! Wind Mobile runs on 4, but will work with Robellus.

  4. “Canadian Shores”? Last time I checked, Blackberries are still among the few things manufactured in Canada. It’s a great reason to use one with pride!

  7. Finally! A winner of a Blackberry device! I hope this does well for RIM, and hence, for Canada!

  8. A winner? I’d call it anything but that. I’m so less-than-impressed when it comes to what BB has done in terms of design. It really is sad. Having sold Blackberries to a couple thousand people, the BBM function is what sells almost any of their phones and it creates a tear in my eye every time… If only they knew the experience they could have on other smartphones : (

  9. @Robert, my experience with other smartphones sucks compared to my 8330. I don’t think I will ever use anything but a BB.
