iPhone price also dropping at Bell June 17th

Earlier today we posted that Rogers and TELUS have dropped the prices of several iPhone models. Good news for those wanting to hop on Bell and get an “old iPhone” as they have decided to follow with price drops of their own. According to the inventory doc from a retail outlet is shows:

iPhone 3G 8GB is set at an astonishing $49.95 on a 3-year
iPhone 3GS 16GB is $99.95 on a 3-year
iPhone 3GS 32GB is $149.95 on a 3-year

  3. For the $100 that you save it’s not worth it imo.

  4. 3-year prices are nothing more than a trick by Rogers to lock you in so you can’t take advantage of better offers by other providers. And by posting these incentives you are dong the devil’s work. I’d like to see you stop entirely posting any news about 3-year prices. The only prices that really count are the no-contract prices: everything else is a trap for consumers.

Rogers hasn’t reduced its prices at all. It has only increased the incentive to lock in.
