Video: BlackBerry 6 sneak peak

Today at WES 2010 RIM co-CEO Mike Lazaridis introduced a quick promo video of the upcoming their new and very anticipated BlackBerry OS. RIM has named this BlackBerry 6. What do you think of it? Looks pretty intuitive and easy to navigate around.

  1. What was that?

That does a horrible job telling anyone anything about OS 6.

Oh, except that they have a half-decent music player now.

  2. A decent media player, modern UI, and Webkit based browser. Congratulations RIM, these are things iPhone has had for three years.

  6. its a nice long awaited update… but where is blackberry 6 for non touch screen phones. Consumers who bought the blackberry 9100, 9650, 9000, and 9700 cannot be left in the cold. if they are rim will loose a huge market share and consumers will switch devices for sure.

  7. Looks like Cirque du Soleil bought RIM. Do they have a demo without the distracting clowns?

  8. This video is laughable but at least they are trying to add a little style to their operating systems now. In response to david cheng, all the people with 9000 – 9700 models will have to make do with a new BlackBerry Case instead…
