After a brief tease in January, Lego has peeled back the curtain on its highly anticipated Game Boy set.
Releasing on October 1, 2025 for $79.99, the Lego Game Boy contains 421 pieces and measures in at 14cm high, 9cm wide and 3cm deep. It also contains the iconic handheld’s signature buttons, including the + Control Pad, A and B, Select/Start, contrast and volume dials. This makes it a near life-sized brick replica of Nintendo’s original Game Boy system that launched way back in 1989.

For even more nostalgia, it even comes with two interchangeable brick-built Game Paks based on The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Super Mario Land. Additionally, the set includes display screens that reflect each game, as well as the classic Nintendo start-up screen.

This is the latest in an ever-growing lineup of Nintendo x Lego products. Other sets in the ongoing collaboration include replicas of NES and SNES consoles, as well as several products inspired by Mario, Donkey Kong and The Legend of Zelda.
The Lego Game Boy set will be available for purchase on Lego’s website and at select retailers.
