Android Marshmallow rolled out on Nexus 5, 6, 7 and 9 devices earlier this month, and is also being pre-loaded on devices like the Nexus 5X, 6P and HTC One A9. Several manufacturers, such as LG, Samsung, HTC, and Motorola, have all promised to release Android 6.0 updates, and looks like we are seeing the first official rollout schedule for Canadians.
According to the latest OS update schedule from Telus and Rogers, first on deck for Marshmallow are the HTC One M8, HTC One M9 and Moto G (2015). Telus notes that both the HTC One M8 and the Moto G (2015) are scheduled for Android 6.0 updates in December, while Rogers says the HTC One M9 and One M8 Marshmallow update is coming at some point in the near future.
Of course it’s also important to point out that the update listing’s fine print also notes, “all dates are approximate and subject to change.”
