LG shows off the G4’s “vegetable-tanned leather cover”

The slow drip of information on the LG G4 continues as the company finds new ways to tease its upcoming flagship device.

Yesterday the G4’s QHD display was the centre of attention. Today, it’s the leather back that takes the spotlight. LG took to Facebook to confirm that the G4 will indeed have an ample amount of genuine leather, commenting, “Always have authentic luxury in hand. The brand new LG G4 with vegetable-tanned leather cover.”

If the dedicated G4 site LG accidentally published earlier in the week is to be believed, then the G4 will launch in several different colours, including metallic black, silk white, shine gold, moon violet and burgundy red. In addition, there will be six different leather options: brown, black, red, yellow, sky blue, and beige.

LG is set to officially announce the G4 on April 28. In the meantime, the company is letting 4,000 individuals, including some Canadians, test drive the device before it hits the street.

As always, MobileSyrup will have full coverage once an official announcement is made.
