LG is having a media event on April 28th to unveil the G4, its newest flagship smartphone. However, amidst all the spec leaks and press renders, LG has seemingly confirmed all the bells and whistles in its dedicated microsite. This could very well be an intentional PR move as the Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, and the HTC One M9 went on sale yesterday in some countries.
LG points out three main characteristics of the G4: Artful Moments; Handcrafted Designs; and Personalized Experience. The text is all the same for all sections, currently stating, “Every day, people take more photos with phone than with any other camera. That’s because the camera makes it so remarkably easy.”
Much of the spec sheet looks to be taken from the G3, including the processor speed, camera resolution and Android version. But the photos themselves look to be correct.
According to the site, LG will have the G4 available in Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold, Moon Violet, and Burgundy Red. In addition, it also seems the rumoured leather backing will be brought to life, possibly handcrafted leather in brown, black, red, yellow, sky blue, and beige.
