The 2nd winner of the Wind Mobile “Best Conversation Ever” Contest is happening today. Vancouver resident Robbie McFarland will get his request granted and have the opportunity to sit and chat with Alex Anthopoulos, General Manager for the Toronto Blue Jays, right before the game tonight. In return of the conversation, WIND will donate $100,000 to any charity Alex chooses. The WIND Best Conversation Ever will see a total of $600,000 be donated to various Canadian charities.
Update: The conversation happened and Anthopoulos gave the $100,000 to he Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. “This is an opportunity that I could not pass up, not only do I get to donate $100,000 to the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation which has done wonderful things for my family, but I get to meet someone who shares a similar passion for the great game of baseball.”
