We knew that this was bound to happen. Globalive owns a bunch of companies and one of them is Yak Communications, a company that offers low cost internet, home phone and long distance rate. Globalive also owns Wind Mobile and the two companies have joined together to offer Yak customers the opportunity to bundle up and save without ever signing a contract.
In a press released today, those in Toronto and Calgary will be able “to add WIND Mobile services to new and existing Yak bundles, including Yak Home Phone service, Yak High Speed Internet, and Yak’s long distance service. In addition, customers who port their mobile number over to WIND Mobile by March 31st will get a $150 credit towards WIND services. Customers can also enjoy their first month of WIND Mobile service free.”
