With the Ontario government passing Bill 118, “Countering Distracted Driving and Promoting Green Transportation Act”, otherwise known as the law that bans the use of wireless devices while driving, RIM has launched its new Visor Mount VM-605 Bluetooth speakerphone. This will help you keep focused on the road and offers you a handsfree solution to take calls and listen to music.
It looks like it’s compatible with most BlackBerry devices, but must have OS version 4.22 or higher to work. In addition, RIM says the VM-605 has 13 hours of talk time, noise reduction and echo cancelation technology. This is available for $119 (CDN).
