The fall Apple event might be one of the most exciting yet, with Apple rumoured to show off eight new devices, including the folding iPhone Ultra. Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman outlines the eight products in the Power On newsletter.
“As for the actual products set to be unveiled, the main attraction will be the foldable iPhone…Also on the agenda: the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, along with the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4. Everything I’ve heard indicates that the new Apple TV set-top box and HomePod mini will be ready this fall too, so these would make sense for a September debut. And let’s not forget Apple’s first smart home hub, which is slated for a release between October and early next year. A September preview of that product is plausible.”
The new products include:
- iPhone 18 Pro
- iPhone 18 Pro Max
- iPhone Ultra
- Apple Watch Series 12
- Apple Watch Ultra 4
- Apple TV 4K
- HomePod Mini 2
- HomePad /HomePod Touch
Gurman also mentions that Apple is poised to launch a revamped iPad mini this fall, but it will likely launch in October alongside the M6 MacBook Pro.
Gurman didn’t mention the rumoured AirPods with cameras, the third-gen HomePods or the Apple security camera, though they’re expected at the event too.
We’re expecting the Apple event to kick off the week after Labour Day. While the iPhone Ultra will certainly be the star of the show, the HomePad/HomePod Touch will offer Siri AI and multiple face detection.
While the new HomePod is poised for a later release, with all eyes on Apple for this September launch, it makes sense for Apple to show off this product a month earlier.
