At Google’s annual developer conference, Google I/O, CEO Sundar Pichai, announced the company has now sold 25 million Chromecast units around the world. This number is an increase of 5 million from December and 7 million since Google I/O 2015.
Unfortunately, there was no indication as the breakdown of sales for either Chromecast or Chromecast Audio dongles. Google recently renamed its Chromecast technology to simply Cast.
