New LG V10 renders confirm ‘ticker display’ and textured backing

LG is poised to unveil its latest smartphone tomorrow in New York and the company could have a couple of new devices on the docket, namely the LG G4 Pro and the LG V10.

Many people have been hyped about the LG V10’s possible release as speculation indicates it includes a secondary display at the top of the smartphone called a “ticker,” which reportedly pulls info from various messaging apps, social sites like Twitter and Facebook, and grants quick access to your camera and contacts.

While various renders of the LG V10 have popped up over the past few weeks, the latest image, courtesy of Evan Blass, gives us a more detailed look at the device. Blass’ most recent leak shows off the LG V10’s backing and it looks strikingly similar to the G4’s build, with the smartphone’s power button and volume rockers located on the back of the device. The V10 also appears to have a textured back.

Rumoured technical specifications indicate the V10 will feature a 5.7-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 808 processor, 16MP camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a fingerprint scanner.

Unfortunately, there is no indication of a Canadian release date.
