BlackBerry recently launched the Passport and Porsche Design P’9983 with BlackBerry 10.3, which brought a visual update, with new icon designs and a flatter aesthetic. But 10.3.1 is on the horizon, and it’s meant to smooth out some of those lingering rough edges.
To the tune of A Midsummers Night’s Dream, BlackBerry user Patrick Maxwell has put together a video that showcases five features that are scheduled to be part of OS 10.3.1. The main attraction is custom notifications and an improved battery saving mode that automatically comes on when the device drops below 40% remaining. BlackBerry 10.3 will bring the option of hiding photos, blocking contacts, and changing the screen from white on black to other colours, such as purple and orange.
