This is unfortunately funny. After months of being delayed for whatever reason the white iPhone 4 finally made its official debut yesterday. Analysts speculated this version will sell about 1.5 million units this quarter but a something has happened along the manufacturing way. It’s been discovered by those who purchased the white iPhone 4 are having a bit of trouble getting the device into a case. Apparently the black iPhone 4 measures in at 9.3mm but the white version is 9.5mm… hence presenting an issue squeezing the white iPhone 4 into those tight fitting cases.
I can’t help but re-quote what Philip Schiller, Apple’s SVP of Worldwide Product Marketing, said the other day: “The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it’s beautiful. We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we’ve worked to get every detail right.”
Apple has yet to comment on the issue.
