Spring is coming and so is the launch of the delayed white iPhone. Apple said months ago that “We’re sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone yet again, but we’ve decided to delay its release until this Spring”. There was a ray of hope this past week as rumours pointed to the white model being ramped up in the production lines… but alas Twitter has confirmed the truth. Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, stated “the white iPhone will be available this spring (and it is a beauty!)”. Ironically, Schiller doesn’t mention which white iPhone will be available in the Spring but one would think he’s talking about the iPhone 4.
Spring starts on March 20th and goes until June 20th. Just remember if you’re banking on getting the white iPhone 4 the next-gen iPhone is expected to be released in June as well. So within a few months there will be an iPhone 4 price drop.
